Happy new year! Can I still say that? I feel like I’ve been floating in a dream-like state the past few weeks. It feels so futile (and tone deaf) to market my brand, events, and projects with the current state of the world — but I keep reminding myself that building communities and creating spaces for people to gather and make art is important, necessary, and perhaps a brief salve we all could use.

Surely this is just a drop in the bucket, but something is better than nothing. Apart from personal donations, I try to do something once a quarter from Sunday Gelato to make sure I’m giving back to my community.
