a jam-packed holiday newsletter 📦
recent design work, home & kitchen products we adore, and latest shop updates
the scoop
So… It was a pretty rough start to the month 😅 After the election, posting about art on my insta felt wrong for some reason. With so much going on in the world, why post about selling new products and my latest silly doodles?
After chatting with some creatives I follow, they reminded me that during tough times it’s important to keep fostering community and to continue making art.
That said, I’ve decided to donate all of the proceeds of my upcoming workshop to local mutual aid funds in Brooklyn so that I can do my part and give back ahead of the holiday season. More details below :)
1. recent design work
Rubirosa x St. Agrestis Giveaway
Last week we ran a giveaway with the infamous tie-dye pizza ristorante Rubirosa and St. Agrestis. Winners will receive a jar of pasta sauce, a pack of Phony Negronis, and a pack of my name cards.
More Save the Dates
For Lauren & Paddy, I designed some whimsical save the dates all hand-drawn on my iPad. These came out so beautiful and I love how simple they are.
Another Italian Wedding
For Kavya & Prakash I designed custom save the dates and RSVP cards. I love how these turned out and the paper quality is so perfect in person. I also created my own font for the addresses on the envelopes and that was a fun new skill to learn.
Brightland Collab
So excited to post a fun collaboration I just did with Brightland olive oil. I created a custom menu for them with a fun spin on the ingredients to a perfect holiday season. I took a lot of photos of the stamp carving process which I’m excited to share.

My third workshop is set for Monday, December 9th! It will be at Fierst Studio and you can buy tickets HERE. Get ‘em quick!
3. shop updates
NEW Product: Hang Tags!
Next week I will be listing these online just in time for gift wrapping this holiday season. These will come in a pack of 10 for $12.99 and there are 5 different designs.
NEW Packaging
As seen on Insta, I’ve upgraded my packaging on my paper products. Check out this recent order of name cards I sent out to Windie’s, a new shop opening this weekend in Rhode Island. Check out their insta!
4. SG holiday gift picks
disclaimer(s) — I don’t want to support the overconsumption of goods, but I’m always on the hunt for new items in the home/cooking/design world that make ordinary tasks more enjoyable. I don’t want to piggyback trends but rather list items I genuinely love and enjoy :)
From left to right, top to bottom:
Steel Fish Clips — I keep seeing these everywhere and I’m obsessed. Perfect for chip bag clips. I think these would be a great stocking stuffer or small xmas gift.
Area Ware Bird Mobile — I feel like this would be a GREAT gift for new parents for above their baby’s crib. Or maybe for myself, a 28 year old woman living alone. Idk.
Dusen Dusen Bathrobe — Because no newsletter would be complete without a Dusen Dusen rec. This hits all the checkboxes for me: color-way, comfort, women-owned brand. Check, check, check.
Schoolhouse x Clare V. Metal Catchall — Schoolhouse can do no wrong in my eyes, and I’m really enjoying their collab with Clare V. These catchall trays are giving Gustaf Westman energy and I’m here this slightly cheaper option.
Green Tea French Soap — Bar soap is back BABY. Maybe it never left for everyone else, but it’s certainly back for me.
Area Ware Pet Bowls — These are joy-inducing for me and I love that they come with a matching placemat underneath.
Pool Ball Ceramic Dish — I found these on Etsy but I’m sure there are many different versions of these. I think these are perfect catchall trinket trays.
Mociun Comfort Mug — Yes, I think spending $60 on a mug is ludicrous, but I’ve been seeing this EVERYWHERE and my subconscious is telling me it’ll be a splurge purchase soon. Everyone needs a splurge purchase list that they tend to like a garden.
Gohar World Tote — Loving Gohar lately after seeing their pop-up in SoHo. I know the boat tote trend has a foot out the door, but I enjoy their branding and I like how they have options with silk handles.
A bottle of Sauv Blanc with a fun label — Saw this bottle in my local natural wine store the other day and it caught my eye. Including this on the list because a bottle of natural wine is a timeless holiday gift in my opinion.
None of these items are sponsored content or affiliate links. Even though I hope ONE DAY THEY ARE !
I’d love to hear from you…

Ciao,

I completely agree that it’s felt weird to post or be excited about… anything?! But am so glad you did! I’ve been eyeing those fish clips for a while and I think this is a sign I need to finally get them!
